What to Expect

Checking out a new church can be intimidating. We want to let you know what to expect when visiting Brookfield, so you feel confident in your decision to check us out!

Below you’ll find out our mission and how we carry it out, what our worship service is like, and all the details you’ll need to know for your visit.

Our Mission: Introduce people to Jesus and lead them to become fully devoted followers of Him.

How We Carry Out Our Mission

Connect: Brookfield is welcoming to visitors and celebrates diversity. Regardless of your current place in life, we’d love for you to come worship alongside us!

Grow: We strive for spiritual growth by making Bible study, prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism available for all age groups.

Serve: At Brookfield, we use the gifts God gave each of us to serve others inside and outside the church. We rebel against the concept of being a country club church, in which everything is about us and believe our greatest joy is found in serving others.

Our Worship Service

Our Sunday service is a combination of music, teaching, and prayer that lasts 70-75 minutes.

You can expect relevant and engaging teaching that’s grounded in scripture.

Our Music is designed to lead all generations into worship, and you are encouraged to stand, sit, or raise your hands as you prepare your heart.

We believe that financial stewardship involves giving back to God a portion of what he has given us, so we take an offering each Sunday. There is no expectation for our visitors to give; we are simply glad that you are here!

When should I arrive?

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 am. We recommend getting here 15 minutes before both start times. If you have children who’ll be visiting Brookfield Kids, please allow additional time to register them.

What should I wear?

Most people wear comfortable, casual clothes — others choose to dress up. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Where do I go?

We have handicap parking and access right in front of the church, and a parking lot across the street. There are two entrances — one at the back and the main entrance in front. You can enter on either side. Greeters will guide you to our sanctuary from there.

What do my children do?

Brookfield Kids is a safe and lively place that has classrooms and staffing for infants - 6th grade.

When coming with children, head down the hallway across from the sanctuary. There you’ll find our First-Time Family greeters who will be ready to welcome you, answer any questions, and help get your children to their classrooms. Learn more.

We hope to see you soon!
